Rz® is not a diamond and is not a lab-grown diamond. The same distinction applies to other diamond simulants such as cubic zirconia and moissanite.

Why choose a lab-grown diamond?

When may a simulant be suitable?
A simulant may suit fashion jewellery, travel jewellery or a lower-price purchase where owning a diamond is not the objective. It should always be described as a simulant and should not be represented as a diamond.

- Compare total price, metal, setting and after-sales terms—not only carat size.
- Ask for written clarification if the material is described with an unfamiliar trade name.
